Getting started

Install PHI Mask and activate your key

Add the PHI Mask extension to Chrome, Edge or Firefox, then paste your activation key so your plan applies.

PHI Mask is a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox on desktop. Install it once on each computer. A key turns on your paid plan.

Install the extension

  1. Open PHI Mask for your browser and choose your browser.
  2. Add PHI Mask from the store page that opens.
  3. Pin PHI Mask to the toolbar so you can open it in one click.

The free plan starts straight away, with no account. You can also try masking without installing anything at phimask.com/mask-data.

Activate your key

Yearly purchases come with one activation key per seat, emailed to the address used at checkout. Each key starts with PHIM-. If you bought monthly and need a key, ask through the request form.

  1. Open PHI Mask from the browser toolbar.
  2. Open the plan badge, then choose Activate license.
  3. Paste the key and press Activate.

If PHI Mask already shows an active license, choose Use a different key to enter the new key.

If the email has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If someone else bought your seat, ask them for your key. Each person needs their own.

Something not working?

Use the request form for activation, seat, refund or invoice questions. Include the Stripe invoice number if you have one. Never send card details, PHI or original files.
