Before day one: check the rule

Day one: install and activate
Each person installs PHI Mask and activates the key the clinic gave them. The steps are in Install PHI Mask and activate your key.
Day two: try one fictional letter together
Sit down together and paste this into the AI site your clinic already uses:
Dr. Robin Example, Example Family Clinic. Re: Sam Sample, born 1980-01-01, health card 4012 345 678, phone 416-555-0134. Please see Sam for a knee assessment.
Sam's name, date of birth, health card and phone become placeholders. Review what changed, then send. In ChatGPT and Claude, the reply shows Sam's details again on your screen.
Days three and four: pick one task
Choose one task your clinic already uses an AI assistant for, and start there.
Day five: check in
- What was masked, and what did someone have to fix by hand?
- Which task comes next?
- If something was missed, retype it with fictional details and send it through the request form. Never send card details, PHI or original files.
